Hello, I am currently running a developing a phpnuke site that I am making a paid subscription site. I have ******'s E-solution but I am not happy with the costomer support and I am considering aMember.

My main question is that with aMember and the phpnuke plugin are aMember and phpnuke integrated. Do I need two different logins or does it integrate into one. Also I am making the site into a members only site so there will be no ther users allowed other then members. If that is the case should I just sticke the whole phpnuke site into my aMember protected folder.

You can order aMember Pro phpNuke integration plugin ($40) and also install free NSNGroups module for your phpNuke.

Then you can make some content in your phpNuke installation available for paid members only. Integration will work like described here:
    http://www.amember.com/support/faq.php?do=article&articleid=4

aMember still be separate application and it will not be a part or module of phpNuke.

    Hello again,

I don't mean to sound stupid or anything, but reading that FAQ I am still a littel confused. So basically if someone is already a member of my site through phpnuke and they pay for the member section that will update for them so they can access the members only section.

If they are not a member of phpnuke, but they sign up for the site through amember, does amember automatically make them a member of my site also or do they have to go through the registration process for me site also.

Also will they have to log in twice. My site is basically going to members only. There will not really be any free sections, but at there may be a section where they can see a tour of the content or I may set up a trial membership.

This topic is really hard to both explain and understand. So feel free to ask as much as you need.

Yes, aMember will automatically add new customer to phpNuke database.

aMember handles single-login for both scripts. Of course, it works only if user is actually exists in both aMember and phpNuke database (it will happen automatically).

So iniitially they might have to register for the amember part and the phpnuke part, but when they do then when they login in again the will only need to login once is that right?

For example, If the user registers through nuke first, but then wants to sign up for a restricted area they will have to put there information in again through amember and pay. Once that's done they will only have to login once.

But if they sign up through amember first then they will be registered in both amember and phpnuke is that right?

If they sign up through amember do they still have to register through the nuke portal?

    Thanks again.
