Help please! This is urgent! I have submitted a support ticket but I am posting here as well in case someone else can help more quickly. My visitors cannot register on account of this issue...

I have just upgraded from 3.1.8. to 3.1.9 and now my signup.php page is downloaded as a file by the browser instead of being displayed as a webpage. Other PHP pages such as login.php and member.php work just fine. I spoke with my host and they tested the signup.php file and said it is corrupted. I tried reverting back to the 3.1.8 version -- in fact I republished all the 3.1.8 PHP files from the amember folder, and it still happens. I am at a loss as to what to try next. Any ideas?

Do you see the issue if you navigate directly to the signup page versus following a link?

Try clearing your browser cache/cookies and restarted your browser and tried again AND tried with a different browser/computer

I have seen something in the past and it ended up being an issue with a mix match of short tag usage (ie. <?php versus <?).. I would not suspect this is the issue since you reverted, but something to check

You may want to post the link here to see if there is any additional information we in the community can see.

A very special thanks to Alex for quickly fixing this problem for me. I have no idea what he did, but I put my Help Desk ticket in and he had it fixed within an hour! Wow, talk about excellent support! :D

@skippybosco -- I appreciate your reply. I did a ton of troubleshooting on this, but apparently Alex didn't have any trouble finding the problem. :)

btw, the problem was in incorrect upgrade. Not all files were uploaded from upgrade package, so there were versions conflict.

I'm having this issue now too. Have tried uploading the upgrade package and unpacking several times, but same error.

Make sure you upload all the new javascript files in the amember/templates folder.
