Install won't complete

    Database gets created, but I recieve this message:
    File amember/config.inc.php is exist, but something went wrong. Database configuration was empty or cannot be read. Please remove amember/config.inc.php and repeat installation.

    I have repeated the installation several times. Any thoughts?

    I also have exactly the smae problem . I have tried deleting the file then downloading the new file and uploading it but still i cant get it going . Any chance of some help please

    Why not just paste the solution so everyone knows what to do

    Just re-upload files in BINARY mode and it will work.
    Magically, uploading files "just as is" is unresolvable problem for some ftp clients :)
