Hi, I installed amember at www.mydomain.com/amember. We had some customer signups. Then, we moved amember to: members.mydomain.com/amember. It uses the same database as before. We then deleted the files from mydomain.com. So now, there are only files in members.mydomain.com/amember. Will this affect performance at all? Is there anything we need to do? So far, it seems to be working, but please let me know if there is anything additional I need to do. Thanks, Adam
Hi! When it comes to a general web server discussion, i can tell you that it cannot and must not have any difference. However, I would fail to understand changedifference if aMember scripts would induce any difference at all due to different in the domain and sub_domain, provided that the aMember scripts works for the subdomain.
It will work exactly the same and without any problems. Don't forget just to change Root URLs at aMember CP - > Setup, and re-protect folders.
