I have a directory protected (not by amember yet) by password on my website. Url:
    http://www.tahititatou.com/subsc/
Inside this directory I have 3 sections: one in English, one in French and one in Spanish.
    The English index url is:
    http://www.tahititatou.com/subsc/subs-eng.html
    The french index url is:
    http://www.tahititatou.com/subsc/subs-fr.html
    The Spanish index url is:
    http://www.tahititatou.com/subsc/subs-es.html

    QUESTION #1
Visitors pay through Paypal to access the protected area of the site. Right now I allow access manually. After I receive the payment, I send them the password by email.
I want this process done automatically by amember.
When this directory will be protected by amember, will my existing subscribers still be able to access it like usual with their old password?

    QUESTION #2
Can you help me step by step to create 3 products:
    1. one month subscription to the English section
    2. one month subscription to the french section
    3. one month subscription to the Spanish section

    QUESTION 3
The normal subscription is one month but I want to allow people to access the protected site for one day. Is it better to create 2 products (1 month subscription and 1 day subscription) or just 1 product (1 month subscription with option to 1 day trial subscription)?
I don't really understand how this trial option work.

    1. You will have to import existing customer to aMember (aMember CP -> Import)
    2. You will need to create a separate folder for each product.
Then you create products as desired, give each different title and URL (for example)
    /subsc/en/
    /subsc/fr/
    /subsc/es/
an put your files into these folders (name files as index.html )

After creating the products, you can protect folders using aMember CP -> Protect Folders.

    3. It will require creating 2 products. Trial option allows to change one price at start, then another price in time of subscription. It is not applicable to your case.

    Thanks, Alex.
I have another question about importing existing customers.
In my present subscription system every subscribers have the same username and password for the current month (until June 30). Do I need to import every existing subscribers one by one, or can I just import this one username and password for all?
For example, if I just "add user" only with that username and password, will it work for my existing subscribers to access the protected directory?

In the "Import. Step 1 of 4: define input format" the email field has no asterisk, which seems to mean that it is not a mandatory field. But in the amember manual, "Using Import" section, it says that "E-Mail is a mandatory field". So is it mandatory or not?

This is possible but not recommended because account sharing protection will not work in this case.
If you have other user's info likle email and name I recommend to use aMember CP -> Import and generate login/password for your users.

    It's not required but recommended.
