I would like a membership site where basic site is free to join and when a person does join they purchase credits for my services -- the credits can be for individual downloads or for a monthly download. When they use the credit to make purchase it is automatically deducted from their account. Is this possible with aMember?
I also sent this question via the help desk and was told "this is possible but will require customizations. Unfortunately we don't accept custom projects right now because our workstack is full already." I must say I was a bit put off by this response so I didn't come back to the forum until today. Now I see it can be done with the downloads plugin. I downloaded the free trial -- is the downloads plugin included in that trial as I would like to see if I can customize it myself. Thank you Lin
This was me in helpdesk as well. Sorry for the confusion, I didn't not second part of the post when I reply to this. This pasrt should be customized. Downloads plugin allow to sell download credits, so user will purchase subscription and aMember will add specified credits amount to his balance. And user will be able to use these credits to download files (and not to make another purchase)
Do I need to purchase the program in order to try this out? I don't see the dowload plugin in the trial download.
