    WordPress aMember SideBar Plugin

Does anyone have the link to the most up-to-date Wordpress aMember Sidebar Plugin?

    I'm using the MA-aMember-widget version 0.1.0

I've paid for the Wordpress plugin and it doesn't seem to have any updates.

    Thanks for your help!

The MA-aMember-widget 0.1.0 should still be usable for up to wp 2.6.

I gave this to Alex a while back to include with the plugin.

I have made some additions to the plugin since the release 0.1.0, but for the moment only my premium members can download it.

I'm running this on Wordpress 2.61 with no problems.

Appleoption, let me know if you have any difficulties or if you have any requests.

Hey all... sorry to jump into this 3 pages deep, but I'm a little perplexed.

I bought the WordPress plugin for Amember and set it up, then installed the plugin that came with it in my WP widgets. I'm running wp 2.6.1 on the root domain and amember in a membership folder.

What I want to do is restrict certain posts to my members, and also provide access to my phpbb3 forums (using that plugin) and a download area.

But here's the problem... I seem to be missing something because either EVERYONE has access to EVERYTHING or NO ONE has access to ANYTHING...

    HELP!

In order to restrict access to content, you need to use the wordpress hidepost plugin. http://nguyenthanhcong.com/hidepost-plugin-for-wordpress/

The amember plugin copies user data from amember to wp when a product is purchased, and handles the expiration of subscriptions too.

The sidebar widget plugin for wordpress creates a login form for your wordpress sidebar and also improves the links generated by hidepost.

PHPBB3 will require a seperate plugin from amember.

Yes, you need to edit the widget code itself.

I'm using Hidepost as well as the latest aMember WP integration plugin (0.1.0 afaik), and a lot of my users can't seem to get to the hidden content. They can log into the aMember side perfectly fine, but that doesn't seem to log them into Wordpress properly- it just keeps showing them the login and register links.

People tell me they've cleared their cache in FF, Safari, and IE. Some have Reset Safari and tried again. Still no luck.

Is this an integration bug that's going to be fixed?

What versions of amember / wordpress are you using? I have a full integration video and instructions available on my site.

Hi mathew - I have the same problem - without even looking at the hide content etc issues, amember is not logging the user into wordpress.

The user is created in wordpress okay at the right role, and if you use the wordpress login you can test out the hideposts , or free memberwing plugin (I am using that to hide content for now). that aspects all works fine - If you are logged in to wordpress.......

You can test whether the user is logged in to wordpress by navigating to the dashboard - wordpress says, no - you are not logged in, although you are logged in to amember.

I am using wp 2.7 and current trial version of amember to test out prior to purchase.

    Hi anmari,

As you are using the trial version, it is very likely that the Wordpress plugin you are using is not the latest version.

Like Lee suggested, you may not have the latest version of the wordpress plugin, whats the file dates of the plugin files?

Think the latest as of today is 4m/10d/09y

    Simple CSS Question

I apologize but can you give me the CSS to edit the 'logout, edit profile, and account details' font. I just want it smaller. I did see your samples and tried to adjust with my little knowledge, but had no success.

Yes, but you need to request the newest plugin from amember. Send them a tech support ticket telling them you are using 2.8x
