    I'm not a programmer.

My web host; iPower, recently upgraded their server platform to the newest vDeck. In doing so, they have made my websites' aMember functionality useless. Upon login, members receive the following error:
Fatal error: PHP must be compiled-in as Apache module to use this method of protection. Looks like you cannot use this method of protection (mod_rewrite+php_include) on your hosting.
I've contacted iPower tech support, and basically they are telling me that the new server does not support PHP modules, and that I will have to select a different form of protection. CGI Central's tech support is basically saying the same thing. iPower says that ionCube Loader is currently enabled. They are telling me the only way to solve this problem is by purchasing space on a VS (which is BS :)).

Long-story-short, I need help with this situation. I did not originally load the aMember script on my website, and the person who did is unavailable. I'm willing to pay someone to help me. For obvious reasons of security, I cannot give-out the keys to my website unless you have a good, long-standing reputation on this forum. If you'd rather just help me through this, than be prepared to give thorough instructions, as I've never done this before. I know how to manage a website, but script/modules are currently a little over my head.

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. iPower sucks, and so does their vDeck platform. Don't even THINK of using them. I've had nothing but horrible experiences with their service and support.

Signup with hostgator and see if they can copy your whole site.
You may need some additional tweaks after that.
ex: protected folders .htaccess files may have the wrong server path.

    Hi Mike,

You can contact me at phill at getresults.co.nz

You're right - IPowerWeb sucks. It's the worst hosting I've ever come across.

I've moved accounts for clients from IPowerWeb to Cpanel hosting several times.

Send me an email or chat me on skype (username: nzsixthsense) or MSN (phill_coxon@hotmail.com) to discuss further.

    Thanks,

    Phill
