    Hi,

I am asking this question because I am changing the folder in which the files will be (I am cleaning up a bit)

my site is set up like that for now(under my ftp):

    site1/wordpress
    site1/amember

    site1/site2/wordpress2
(site2 is an addon domain - works by itself)

I have amember registered for site1 address/donaim name.

Can I leave it like that, and still protect my wordpress2 ?
I will also use the wordpress plugin from amember.

Or is it best to have amember under/site2 ? Or under /site2/wordpress2 ?

    Thanks for your input/suggestion.

Sorry, I'm having a hard time following your directory explanation. Can you explain differently?

    what does this mean?

    Sure :)

    Amember is registered with site1.com

But my Wp install and pages that I want to protect are under site2.com
(which is on a ftp access located at public_html/site1.com/site2.com)

Can I still use my current install of amember to take care of site2.com?
(i have a Wp install under site2.com, which i want amember to take care of, but not as a "walled garden" type

    S.)

I see. so you are on a dedicated or VPS and want to use amember to protect your wordpress.

I think amember may be able to add the users to the wordpress database, but I think there will be a session/cookie issue when using wordpress on the 2nd domain.

You may have to customize the wordpress plugin in amember to fix this.

    Thanks David,

Well I am not on a vps, nor dedicated.

I changed host, and reorganized my main domain and add-on the way it made sense - but amember is still registered with the main :)

    Anyway .....

Yeah, it may be a bit tricky, as the WP in question, is under a "2d" site, even it is just a subfolder of the server (my website) root.

I will in fact only use the db of this 2d Wp install, so amember will think of it as a subfolder ?

In any case, do you provide that kind of help (the tweaking and stuff ?)

    Let me know,

    Best

    sebastien

PS: my idea is to have a monthly membership that access all pages/subpages of this Wp install, and, along with that, have some "packages", were users can choose to pay once (pay as you go) to access certain pages/subpages.
