    Hello,

When a user pays his subscription via amember, his forum account is automatically upgraded to VIP, although, when a users subscription is canceled or deleted from VIP, his user account on the forum is reverted back to 'Registered User', but for some reason he keeps his User Rank for VIP.

VIP was setup to have a red-bold username, as well as a small banner under that says VIP.

For some odd reason, when a user is cancelled, he becomes a registered user, but still has a red-bold name everywhere on the forums. The only way I have figured out how to undo this was to manually make him VIP again(or any other usergroup, then manually make him a registered member. At this point.. he is fully reverted back to his forum account, with the regular colored username.

Is amember forgetting to revert something on these accounts? How can I fix this? I have put off the release of my subscription system for 2 months now.. week after week, and this is my final issue. Please advise me on how to fix this!

I believe this is a vbulletin "feature" - good luck getting them to acknowledge it however

Are you using secondary usergroups or moving them to a new primary usergroup?

Hey!!, you are not alone with this.

I have the same problem and I also know it is happening because I put a star in front of usernames and also change the colour and member title.

It's only because I have been deleting a lot of old postings I have noticed users that still have not reverted back fully.

The have the free usergroup but not the title under their username and they still have the star by their username although they have free member status.

I was changing the group and changing it back to update the user title.

I'm doing this so much I found an easier way. I can just click save for user in admin cp and it resaves the title as they are in free group but don't know if that would be the same for you.

There must be something buggy somewhere that may get discovered.

I think you may be able to batch that under the maintenance, update counters in the admin-cp.
