How do the affiliates get credit for referring?

I want to take advantage of the 2 tier affiliate program but I'm wondering how the affiliates get credit when they get someone to sign up? I would like for people to be assigned a user ID number and have them be able to give that number to prospects so that when the prospect signs up, the prospect would have to input the id number of the affiliate who referred them so that the affiliate would get credit. I understand that aMember can do affiliate links and I will take advantage of that as well but can I have the prospects insert their referrer's affiliate code manually when they sign up?

What is the syntax of the url that an affiliate would use to refer other JV partners?

Also, is there code or a token that can be placed on the affilaite page that will allow me to indicate a line as follows:

Earn 2 Tier Commissions By Referring Other JV Partners - Use this link below:
[aff referal link]

What would the code be that would make the aff referal link appear on the page?

Another unanswered question. Hmmm.

Its the same as any other referrel. The system will set them as a tier below you when they are added.
