This might sound corny, but do we need to protect a folder that has already been designated as a product folder? In other words, if we created a product and set a certain folder, do we also need to protect that folder too in "protect folders?" Or is this redundant? I should also add, if we protect a subfolder, can people still access the parent folder?
folder protection is recursive, meaning /folder1 will also protect /folder1/subfolder1 But it wont work the other way. David
it's not redundant, and you still need to do that manually (I believe that's what the little description under the "product url" in products edit/add page says too...)
