    Hi,

I am fairly new to this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am signed up with authorize.net and will use AIM or SIM for charging customer credit cards.

With amember and the ability to use authorize.net AIM, or SIM plugin, what is the easiest way for me to charge about 300 customers who have subscribed to my service, but have yet to be charged.

In other words, I have all their information (including CC and billing info etc), but need a way to charge. Is there any bulk way either at authorize.net, or in amember that can save me charging these customers one by one?

Lastly, is there a (bulk) way 300 or so accounts can be created via amember instead of creating them one by one?

    Thanks in advance.

There's no way to create all those payments, but there is an IMPORT feature that would allow you to create the 300 members is your aMember script.

You would want to put them in aMember and run the payments through there... otherwise, you'd be running the payments manually for ever.

Bulk importing them with a subscription start date of today would effectively accomplish your bulk charge.

    Hey Jack,

So, you can import CC#'s and it will start charging them immediately (if you sent the start date to today)?

    That's awesome, if it works.

Yep! That's what I did, and it worked very well.

Need help uploading member database, including credit cards

I have a database of members I need to import into amember (previously stored on another system). I've tried importing members from the list, but I can't seem to get it to actually process their initial payments. My questions are:

    1. What do I need set (both in amamber and in the import file) that will process an initial payment, and then monthly payments?

    2. Is the amount of the initial payment dependent on the product setup, or on the "amount" field in the import file?

    3. Is there a way to de-crypt credit card numbers from the amember database?

    Thanks!

    Al
