I have installed amember but have run into some issues. I need an installation expertto help me complete it. My site is based around vBulletin. Its a paid member board based on permissions, ect. All the subscriptions give the same level of access...the only difference is the length of time. (i.e. - 1 month, 3 months, ect) Currently, I am only using PayPal (recurring) and bought amember to help with management and to take credit cards.

I now have an SSL certificate on my site. However, all my website files, to include amember, are in the httpdocs directory. I also have a httpsdocs directory. Do I need to move my entire website over to the httpsdocs directory because of the 'https' part? In order to for my authorize.net account to be 100% approved, the underwriter wants to see a secure checkout page. I have tried putting the amember folder in the httpsdocs directory but still no dice. Then, I changes the secure URL setting in the global config area and now I cannot access it at all.

Please email me at source@securenym.net with your price. Thanks.

You can put it only in httpsdocs folder, and then ANY and ALL references to amember pages will have to be with https://...

Otherwise, if you want both http:// and https:// to work, you need to install aMember into both folders (at least physical files - I am sure the same database settings are used).

    That depends on your host.

I use 1and1 with GeoTrust SSL, and you can visit my signup page (installed in one location) with both https:// and http://.

Bottom line: You need to ask your host.
