ssl needed?

    I searched the forum for "ssl" and got no results... Weird...

    If the credit card numbers are stored in amember and then sent to authorize.net or paypal don't I need an SSL?

    Yes, you will need SSL if you store CC on your site. I think that's something authorize.net requires.

    Search requires 4 characters or more so a search of SSL actually returns an error that the search request was ignored:

    I don't need SSL for a shared hosting account with Paypal do I?

    Got my answer today from Paypal... Shopping cart stuff is working without SSL.
