I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this. However, I would like to have some simple custom reports done, with a fairly generic web interface. I'd like to be able to have the first page have all of the subscriptions listed with a checkbox next to it. Then i'd like to be able to select all boxes that I want to display active membership for, and then maybe another set of check boxes that will display the fields that are available to be displayed. Any help or quotes for this would be appreciated, or redirection to the proper board this should be on. Best Regards, Thomas.
Oh man, I'm just in a process of customizing reports for 3 different clients in amember... and all of them are asking for 3 different things. Not fun, considering the smarty templating engine... not sure I can take on another one at the moment.
Hey Miso, Maybe when you get caught up with your current clients, you can list some of the various custom reports you've created so we can buy them from you. I'm sure you've probably already created a few I might want.
Umm, not sure if this will suit anyone, but what I've done so far was along the lines of creating custom affiliate reporting/payout reports (to include specific fields, custom conditions on who gets paid and who doesn't, as well as custom listing to add to the existing, but limited, monthly breakdown of all commissions). As far as reports go, I did create a custom rebilling log which lists # of failed transactions and the reason for such per day for each month... pretty much breaking down all the failed rebills per transaction error message, so you know exactly where your rebilling issues are (and this might be only valuable for bigger sites, with hundreds/thousands of users). Again, not sure if anyone can actually benefit from this generic solution above, as I'm positive that everyone has some custom requirements for their reports... and I've heard some wacky ones that I had to refuse as well (as it would've taken forever to put together and quite frankly cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for my time/work... just for a really complicated report).
Thanks for letting us know. I figured you probably had created reports to extend the affiliate stats into areas such as $/click, $/affiliate, $/member, and maybe even comparing current time frame with previous timeframes. Yeah, personally, I wouldn't need anything about rebillings and am more interested in the more standard metrics not addressed with current aMember reports.
such as? throw down some examples here with some specifics... maybe something can be done about that in the future
Sorry, I thought I was clear in what I'd like to see. Right now, I'm looking for a way to track the conversions of the site: What % of visitors coming to the site sign up for any account. What % of visitors sign up for each particular membership account. Earnings per visitor. Earnings per new member. I'd also like to see similar numbers for each individual affiliate as well as for the site as a whole. I know I could use Google Analytics for some of this, but not all of it. I've attached 2 screenshots from my previous affiliate management software. They shows several key metrics measuring the sales performance of the site. That software let me get similar numbers for each individual affiliate, and for any specified time period.
