I'm going to require "membership" to access my Free and Premium content. Should I place these folders directly in my public_html folder or in my public_html/members folder? FYI, members is where Amember is located. Thanks!

Also, just checked and my root is /public_html/members, which probably answers my question, but would still appreciate confirmation. Thanks!

What do you mean by your root is /public_html/members. When you go to yourdomain.com, is the main page loaded from public_html or public_html/members?

Your content does not need to live in your members folder, it can exist anywhere within your public_html structure and aMember will be able to protect it for you.

/public_html/members is the root where Amember is installed. But if I follow what you're saying, it doesn't matter if I place my /free and /premium folders in /public_html as Amember can protect them anyways. Is that correct?

Yes, aMember can protect any content on your website as long as you set everything up correctly.
