I want to be able to accept offline payments to keep subscriptions going. It seems like the offline payments only work with one-time payments.

Am I missing something? Is there any way to do it?

I agree - the offline support of the admin interface is very weak.

I want the ability to add a subscription to a user from the admin panel the same way a user would from their profile page.

I was really surprised to not see this ability in amember.

It means that you can't really use amember with any type of telemarketing or customer support team - unless they just walk the user thru the process or login to the user's account and do it as if they are them - which I don't like that approach, but what I think I am going to have to do until amember has a better solution - a plugin would be great for this.

    Dan,

You can add users through the admin interface and subscribe them to products. Just use the "Add User" link near the top, then go into their "User Payments/Subscriptions" page and add subscriptions.

Or am I not understanding your problem?

    Jack,

My non-profit organization accept membership due either online or offline. I learned the hard way -- when I created new record or new subscription, an email go off to the member without my permission. So I have to go in somewhere in CP to turn off email notification and update the records and/or data. When I'm done, I have to turn on the email notification because if anyone online join or renew their membership, they'll get email notice. I wish there was an easier way to do this.

I can add a user - no problems there. Its the "User Payments/Subscriptions" page that I don't believe can work for me. Maybe Im mis-understanding something, but there are alot of problems with it.

Here is my beef with that page:
    * Dates: it needs to be smarter and get the date information from the product being chosen - why should I have to enter them directly when the product already defines. Too much room for human error. Also - is this just defining the first period, then would be updated if it is a recurring product? Otherwise how do you setup a lifetime product?
    * Amount - again, it should default to the price of the product chosen. Plus, what if the product has special pricing for trial periods, etc - how is that handled?
    * No Coupons - I want to be able to enter a coupon code on this page so it can get applied for tracking and proper pricing
    * Receipt - not sure what that is for?
    * If I am using a recurring payment module (Im using auth.net CIM), and I check it as unpaid, will it automatically get paid on next cron job? Or how does that work? Does it make a difference if I start subscription today vs. tomorrow?

I could probably hack it to make the Dates/Amounts get filled in based on the product by default, but not sure if I could easily hack the coupons support and how actual payments would take place.

If anyone has done any work on improving this page, I would be greatly interested.

    Thanks,
