    Hey folks,

So here's a trick for you. How is it that I have a product that is supposed to be a 1 month recurring subscription for 8 months, but upon payment it sets the startdate to 2037?! Which is apparently a "lifetime."

Here's how I have the product set up...

    • Duration 1 Month
    • Trial price and duration left blank
    • Recurring billing checked
    • Fixed subscription start date left blank

So what am I doing that is causing the start date to default to 2037?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    Chris

Thats wierd, can you post a screenshot of your product settings?

If you want it to stop at month 8, you should also have
    recurring periods: 8

    Chris,
Do you have payments for other products in your test user account?

    Same problem...

I've just had the same bug, and it happens regularly -- but not 100% predictably. (The bug is in 3.1.2+security patch at least.) This time it happened on our main product:

    • 3 month recurring product.
    • 3 month trial period.
    • No fixed start date.

It works most of the time, but occasionally fails completely and sets the payment to "Paid" but both LIFETIME and LIFETIME for start and end dates.

One other product we had, a fixed LIFETIME product, had so many problems with the starting date that we had to force set a start date in the past... Luckily that product in particular isn't used anymore.

If you have any ideas what could be causing this, let me know. There are only so many places in the code the current date for the payment is set.
