signup.php critical errors in firefox and safari

we're getting major errors in firefox and safari on the default signup page... it seems like the live validation causes problems and the continue button stops working, even when errors are fixed and nothing is highlighted at red the entire form is broken

please advise.....

I haven't noticed a single error in safari/firefox with the amember signup ever, so you're experiencing something quite unusual here...

Loading the HTML form works, but not able to proceed with the "Continue" button. The post does not occur.
