    Hey guys,

I need a step by step video or pdf tutorial on setting up Amember with the wordpress plugin, and the post level plugin. Im missing something, running into issues.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Membership Academy has all the information you could ever imagine about this

In my humble opinion, this is not the best way to integrate the two programs, the best in class for this is Ken Gary's amProtect. You can see his video on this product here.

Membership Academy looks like it's another sales site. Regarding amprotect, I can't speak to that just yet but it is costly. Do research before you buy.

Yes it is a sales site. It sells information that mkimble needs. That is why I recommended it.

It does cost $57, but when coupled with aMember ($180) the result is an industrial grade membership site that is built on an open source (free) platform. Think that is a lot of money?... Check out Membergate at $3,995 - $9,494.

If you are building a membership site, surely you have an expectation of it making money. If a $250 software investment is a deal breaker, should you really be trying to build a membership site?

My father always told me "It takes money to make money".

Membergate looks like a waste of money. You can do the same in Joomla for $100 if that's what you really wanted. Interesting. Learn new things every day.

    Oh boy...

As already pointed out, Membership Academy provides information people are looking for (I'm sure David is not coming up with random info and trying to shove it down people's throats while charging them money for that pleasure), so if the original posted wanted that info, it's available out there... for dirt cheap too, if you ask me.

And the amProtect plugin being costly? Again, as pointed out, if you are in the business of putting together a membership site on which you're expecting to charge money for your services/membership and make money out of that venture, an investment of $60 into a tool that will help you do what you need to do and save you time and aggravation in the end is HARDLY costly... unless you're a total cheap ass, in which case you really shouldn't even bother with the membership sites to begin with, as you might piss off more people and customers in the process than you think.
