I am using the Paypal Pro plugin for payments. The product I'm selling has a $175 trial price for the first three months and then charges $65 for every subsequent three months.

Today my first set of recurring payments went through. aMember reported charging each person $65 and that is what shows in their account. However, according to my Paypal account, they were each charged $175 again. What is going on?

    That looks correct.

To recap, your scenario is that Members are billed once for $175, 90 days go by and they are billed a second time by PayPal for $175, but aMember shows $65.

If you look up the transaction number from aMember for the PayPal payment, does it match up to the $175 one or a separate charge altogether?

David from membershipacademy.com is a wiz at this recurring stuff, hopefully he chimes in as well.

According to your settings, they are being charged a trial price of $175, which gives them a trial period of 3 mos. after which they are billed every 3 months for $65.

Thats strange... When you go from the amember signup page to paypal- what terms are displayed on the paypal page?

Hey skippybosco and davidm1, thanks for helping out. The aMember support team has been basically worthless.

I'm using Paypal Pro so I can run credit cards through my site without people visiting Paypal.com directly.

The transaction IDs match between Paypal and aMember, it's just that in Paypal it shows $175 but in aMember it shows $65.

Attached is a screenshot of the transaction in aMember. You'll see that the success message from Paypal had the $175 charge, but aMember still registered it as a $65 charge.

    Thanks for your help!

Tim, what does it mean? Can you provide ticket numbers? My e-mail address is alex@cgi-central.net

Please submit a ticket and we will give higher attention to it. aMember CP info is necessary, and FTP info would speed-up the problem resolution.

    In addition to Alex's post.
As far as I can see from debug info, your Paypal account is not configured right.
Recurring payment profile were not created for user in example and he will not be changed after three month.
In your paypal account you should signup for DPRP service (DirectPayment Recurring Payments)
