Love it Alex. I just spent a few minutes in the beta and I'm already in love with the shopping cart. Count us in to install the live beta on a new site for sandbox testing. On our end it would be awesome if you pushed the Moodle plugin(1.9 and 2.X) to the top of the queue. We can't use amember without Moodle but can test it without.
Alex, Nice job. I am glad that there are not more html tables Any chance I can get a sample of the template + variables so I can start templating? Cheers, Sergei
from the first view it's huge improvement and looks great i am just curious is it used the same integration method with WordPress is there any new modification and what about custom mods that i have are they work well with new version or need an upgrade?
All plugins and custom work done for v3 will have to be redone for v4. This is a brand new core backend.
In 3.2.3 you could find out how many new sales were yesterday simply by clicking on a date in your amember's CP. Where did that go? Did you decide to remove that? All I now see is Revenue graph, which kinda doesn't show the real sales amount.
Wow! Night and Day. Very exciting stuff. Are there any material changes to make it easier to create templates and skin things for the front end?
Alex, we have been a very long time aMember Pro customer and would be pleased to do live testing of aMember4 on a new site. The timing is great for us because we have been waiting to unveil a new format and could incorporate the new aMember with what we are building. The demo looks fabulous!
Congratulations Alex! This is a huge step for aMember. The demo looks amazing. I've been using aMember since 2003, and continue to stand by it and recommend it to friends and clients. Keep up the great work, and can't wait to work with V4. -Josh
@Alex, Great job on bringing this up to date. I have to admit, I do prefer a very basic template for the members area/login, and signup form as this made it much easier to skin. Pre-styled stuff tends to be much more complex (time consuming) to integrate. Additionally, something like the following would be a great feature to implement (if it can be made optional for those who wish to conserve bandwidth, it would be even better). I was thinking for both the administration area, and members area could benefit from this: http://www.erichynds.com/jquery/creating-a-mint-com-style-idle-logout-timer-using-jquery/
Quoting from another thread: Has password encryption been added as promised in aMember 4? This was one of my biggest complaints about aMember 3.
Do allow for compound taxes? In quebec Canada we have Quebec Sales tax of 8.5% which is calculated on top of the Canadian sales tax of 5%? ($100+5%)+8.5%
That is currently not implemented, but architecture allows to do it. Could you submit this feature request to http://bt.amember.com/ ? (use your amember.com username and password)
nice Looks good lads if you are offering a paid service to install this including my wordpress plugin please ad me to the list.
