Release Date

    Unfortunately settings can't be transfered automatically, because they are completly different in old and new versions. But you will be able to transfer users/payments/products from amember 3 database directly. That import script is implemented and works well.

    i have requested via email the beta 4 version no reply so far, i will need, the import script, and all paypal plugins, wp plugin, and vB4 plugin.

    In any case, if you have more than 100 customers, I'd not recommend to upgrade right now. If any problem arises, it may be hard to resolve for big websites. That is why I offered testing to new websites.

    We will publish detailed transition manuals when time comes. Right now we are targeted to testing v4 on new websites.

    Yes, it will DEFINITELY be released to in October 2011. First test installations are already working.

    There is a new version of the Wordpress Plugin specifically for v4. It is compatible with WordPress 3.2.1.

    My updates period expires later this month. I was hoping that I could grab the new version before that expires. The 28th is my deadline. Can we expect it by then?

    Just a thought it might be worth renewing support at it could work out cheaper than letting it lapse and then having to pay more in the long run for new version.

    Or would you rather the new version be released before Alex and his team are 100% happy? Do that and you could be involved in more work with loads of bug fixes!!

    Have you checked in your aMember customer account panel? Look under licences - domain name and then -V4. Click on that.
