Ok, so they setup the Invision Board 3 plugin for my new account which may be a beta kind of thing. Not sure but I'm sure you guys at aMember know...

Usernames - I have the option selected NOT to lowercase the usernames but it still is. How can I get it to stop doing that? We are allowing memberships tomorrow night I believe for the first time but it's confusing because members won't be sure why they can't login if they are still trying to capitalize their usernames as they filled out on the registration form.

Coupons - We gave away a bunch of 1 month memberships on FB. So I setup a coupon code with it which kind of works ok except 1 thing. When we setup the memberships we did re-accuring. But if they use their free month coupon on the one month subscription then it doesn't require their paypal info and just gives them the free membership. If that's the case then they will have to login and setup their paypal address at the time of renewal rather then just having it autobill. Is this the expected behavior? I wish it still required them to enter their paypal address and just not charge anything that way it just renews their account at the end of the 1 month without troubling them further and risking them not renewing when it could have just auto-renewed. Does that make sense?

Also, after an account is created it just takes them to the amember account page where there is no place for them to click and proceed to their new forum community. Do I need to manually edit the html/php file for that page and add a link like that or is there some type of setting in the aMember UI to handle such a thing?

Thank you so much for your prompt attention on this. I'm getting worried about being ready for tomorrow...

User will be able to login still. Also I tested it on my local installation, it does not lowercase logins.

This seems to be a bug. Contact us in helpdesk we will check what can be wrong.

Set aMember CP -> Manage Products -> Edit Product -> Product URL
That url will be displayed in member's account page.

    Hey Alexander!

I actually emailed this post to helpdesk and they replied once but I'm awaiting their reply again.

They said the same thing on the member names but it's still an issue. On my amember admin it did maintain the capitalization but the username and display name that it pushes to invision power board is all lowercase in the admin panel. I've double checked any settings there and it all appears to be correct. I emailed my admin info for IP Board to helpdesk so they can see the issue themselves. Maybe I'm a dumb, dumb and have a setting wrong but I really don't think so. I think there might be a bug in the plugin cross-talk with IP Board's DB or something.

Thanks for the rest of the info. They are working with on figuring it out but I wanted to update this thread on this particular event.

I'm getting really scared that they aren't gonna get back to me today and I've promised everybody the launch day today...

I wish I would have tested this all earlier. I was a dope :(

    Any insight on this issue?

I hate to be such a pain it's just embarrassing to be so late on releasing our website over this. Support hasn't got back to me and since it appears they are in germany I'm afraid they are gonna leave again today without solving my issues. It's all totally my fault but now I'm stuck with everybody expecting for the website to be released yesterday as announced :(

The problem with the coupon part was that they said to check the 're-occuring' option in the coupon and it will ask them for their paypal info. That would have made sense except that it states there to set the re-occurring number to something really high. I only want them to use that coupon 1 time for 1 month free and then have the re-occurring paypal setup. So if I could set that re-occurring number to 1 I think the problem would be solved but that would be going against instructions in the setup screen.
