I've been wondering why we've been getting signups the last couple days but no money really? I gave out coupons but not this many! Then somebody just informed me on FB that it's giving away memberships when they sign up? I started looking through things and found that it is all over the place! I've lost my butt here I think... I can't figure out why. I've checked the settings and they look right to me. It looks like it's supposed to charge them and everything! But then in paypal it's a different story. I'll attach a screenshot of my settings and the paypal screen on a 6 month no coupon membership that just came through. http://bluevisionweb.com/paypal.png http://bluevisionweb.com/amember.png Please help or tell me if it looks like I've got it setup right.
well you have it set to $0 for the price / trial.. so the initial signup will be free? Is that not what you want?
I don't want a trial at all. It's a normal membership. The next box says 'leave empty to not use trial'. I left it empty to not use trial. That is wrong?
If this is not a bug then someone please tell me am I the only one mislead by that wording? Why set a 'trial' anything for something that isn't a trial at all. So this has been a 1 1/2 day $800 mistake and counting that is either my being a total idiot or a very sad bug in aMember that I don't even know how to handle with them. Eitherway, this is very depressing after the work my team has put into this
@david1 is the subscription expert around here, but I believe you should have initial payment set to $55 and not have anything in the trial fields (blank). Have you adjusted the settings from what your screenshot shows? Your invoice seems to suggest that a trial price was set to $0. Did you go through a test of your product signup flow yourself and reproduce the issue?
Did you change product settings recently? Did you try to signup as regular user, and if so do you have the same issue? I checked last signups and all these subscriptions where created with Free first period. This can be if for example you have not empty Trial 1 price or Trial 1 period fields. If you had any values in these fields (even in one of the field), amember will think that you have trial subscription and will create trial period. I changed plugin to not do this, and tested now, it create subscriptions correct way(without trial)
Nope, not at all. I've replied to Alexander's email though and am awaiting his reply again. I do appreciate the quick attention my ticket got... I was having some major panic attacks that this wouldn't be resolved for morning when we hope to get new subs to put us in the plus hopefully
Are they ordering using your coupon? Whats your coupon setting? I'd immediately disable that product and create a new one until you figure this out. If its a coupon issue this should fix it for now- as the coupon is probably set to the old product. David
None of that makes sense and I'm not sure if your talking to me in unison with whatever Alexander may have done or is doing with my support ticket. It's ALL my products and they were created correctly. If I delete one product and create it again it will just produce the exact same results unless you guys changed something so I don't plan on attempting that without definite instructions from you and Alexander to make sure you guys are on the same page. This is definatly not in reference to a coupon. Coupons were not used on the particular things I'm referring to.
