eSupport looks to be the motherload of support systems. Are there any plans for a plug-in module with this software?

e-support doesn't support creating of customer records - it makes it unusable for many peoples, at least for me.
also, no integration is possible here, as you can see.

We decided to use DeskPro v.2
    https://www.cgi-central.net/support/
And we really will create Deskpro plugin very soon.

    Alex,

At $995, DeskPro is far from cheap. Do you plan to support other ticketing systems, or did you investigate others among the following software?

    - Cerberus HelpDesk
    - InnovateHelpDesk
    - OmniStartLive

I want to integrate ticketing with our aMember Pro database, and I'd rather not reinvent the wheel. At least if you could share any insight you might have (as you did about eSupport), that would be great.

We already have support for PerlDesk, have a look.

Regarding alternative solutions - please check if they keep track of members records. I think it is important for you too.

    Alex, 2 q here

    a) what do you mean by "keep track of members records" ?

    b) I couldn't find the plugin for deskpro - but it looks like a promising solution for me too

Cemper, it is not good idea to take up topics from year 2003 - lot of things can be changed.
    a) It means that they have database of members. In 2003 Kayako did not have "users" table at all. Now it has, but it uses customer e-mail as username.

    b) DeskPro is a dead script, we used this, but there was no ANY progress in development 2 years. Bugs were kept unfixed while author worked on "new version". Now they released "alpha" of new version, but I don't even want to look at it.
