    Hi, there,

I just read on the FAQ page that =

"[edit] 1ShoppingCart: "Cancel recurring" link is not available in aMember CP and member's area.
Unfortunately 1SC plugin do not support cancellations from aMember side. This is integration limitation so nothing can be done in order to fix this. You should cancel recurring subscriptions from your 1SC account. After cancellation, subscription will be disabled automatically in aMember at the end of paid period. "

Does this mean that none of the members can cancel their own subscriptions?

How do they go about doing this then? Do they just email me and then I do it manually?

    Thanks so much,

    - Paul

Yep, they send you an email and you can then pause or cancel their account in 1sc.

    Thanks, David.

How do you verify it was from them?

And if, due to time zone differences, you miss their email by a day and have to refund them a month - how much customer dissatisfaction does this usually entail?

I'd like to be able to automate it so I'm wondering now if I went the wrong route with 1sc.

    Thanks for the info. :)

Not perfect, but is their from address correct? Did they send you a username?

Require the cancelation request come X days before the renewal

IMHO cancellation management isn't a huge issue- unless you are running a huge site, or have a free product offer with loads of trial cancelations. Getting them to send you an email also gives you a chance to find out why they are canceling so you can improve the site.

    David,

    Thank you very much,

I've been a member of your site three times to help give me a boost in getting started (still a ways to go), and I plan on continuing to do so, hopefully more long-term once my membership site is up.

Thanks very much for being available. You provide a much needed gap in people's knowledge and understanding on how to run a SUCCESSFUL membership site.

Thanks again, and have a good day,

    - Paul

you can get a customization done for this - i recommend jlogica - where you add in a cancel button next to subscriptions so it will email you the form and you can pull reports
