Would appreciate any ideas from forum group. I have been receiving customer complaints for the following: When for one reason or another they abort the purchase process after the signup.php page and before checkout, and then they come back to complete checkout at a later time but get hung up when entering user/passwd again on the signup page - error: the username already exists, and they can't get beyond signup. Is there a way to suppress the amember user record creation until after the credit card is succesfully processed? I would think others are having this problem also?? Thanks, Lily
Lily, aMember create user record before user will be redirected to payment processor. This can't be changed. Existing pending users will be able to suse signup page only if will specify the same login/password/email as before. Or user can login at /amember/member.php and purchase subscription from that page.
I get this all the time It kills conversions and is very difficult for the customer. They just want to order the product but it is very complicated. Also the customer can login to the members area even though he hasnt paid. He shouldnt get a welcome email until the payment has been processed. Needs alot of work id say.
