    Hello everyone, I have 2 (or maybe 3) questions for you

    1. I would like to setup some kind of paypal 2 installment system. For example, the initial payment would be one month after registration would be say... $10 (so one month of free trial), then paypal would charge again for $10 in one month. Yes, I would like set the charges in a one month difference. The reason I ask is because paypal has this too, and I would like to setup the same thing.

    1a. If not, is it possible to work around this with paypal? Maybe have the user sign up with actual main paypal website, then have paypal somehow connect to my aMember sign up page and setup the account?

    2. How do I setup aMember so I don't have "spam" paypal accounts? I think this is the only way I can prevent multiple sign up. At least the person must go through the trouble of setting up a paypal account.

    Thank you for your time and consideration.

    1.This is possible by default. Create product in amember with these settings:
    Price = 10
    Period = 1m
    Recurring times =2;

    2. Sorry not sure I understood please explain

    Thanks for that tip.

    For more clarification, I was wondering if it was possible to have someone go through the paypal payment in order to sign up?

    Have you seen those websites where they make you redirect and pay through paypal.com BUT at the very end after payment, paypal redirects you back to your website amember registration page where the same paypal email is used as the main email and users just have to create a username and password?

    Thank you.

    Sure such setup is supported, but with one difference. user will not be able to choose login/password, instead credentials will be generated by aMember automatically based on user's email address.

    Oh I see...

    Ack. Is there some way to go around this? I have my full personal name as my paypal id and I wouldn't like that to be exposed... Is there just some way to create a new username and password? Or maybe a workaround....

    What I'd like to aim for is just having the payment go through paypal itself. Then and only then, users can type a new email or something for the aMember registration. I wouldn't mind typing my email again. Sorry if this was redundant.

    Thank you for your help. I'm sure there's a way to this.
