I'm sorry to clutter the forum with questions, but this just struck me as of now. I plan to use 2Checkout as my payment processor. When the user places an order, will they be redirected to 2Checkout's order page, or will all order processing done in the background within my system? If the latter is true, then this means that the credit card is stored in my database, correct? Despite what payment processor I choose, are all processing done at the third party billing's site, or are some payment processors fully integrated without the need to be redirected to their site? (e.g. Authorize.net?) Thanks for your patience with me.
Yes, user will be redirected to 2Checkout - it is required by 2Checkout and it cannot work in other way. So credit card info is never entered and stored in your database.
