Well I gotta say Alex is one of a lost breed. Huge Kudos out to you Alex. Now... on to my question. I'm using htpasswd protection.I got the script to actually go into the protected area using the config.inc.php and login.php fix. However, when it gets to the directory I get a "404 File Not Found" error. I had an index.htm page in there on the first error, changed it to .html, still got error, so popped a php index page in that loads the html page but still get the 404 error. Is this the same error everyone was getting? I checked this thread and the other IE thread and it doesn't seem to be the same arror everyone else gets. Anyone know what might be giving me this error and ow to fix it. Also.... I don't mean to bash anyone here but I don't understand why someone would implement something such as a protection scheme on a web site without testing it in a test bed first. Just my two cents.
Skelp, it is really 404 Not Found, it cannot be related with aMember in any kind. If you wish, you can send me exact URL where you see this error and FTP info (if possible), and I will point you where is a problem.
Hey Alex, thanks for the quick relpy. Actually, after seeing all the problems IE is giving the htpasswd protection I decided to switch over to the PHP_Include protection. It would actually not be possible to give out the FTP info though anyway. Not that I don't trust you, but the customer's server that it's on is a Government server and access is very resticted and tightly enforced. The paperwork and red tape I'd have to go through to get you access is a nightmare. But if I run into any problems with the php protection I'll post back. Once this is setup and tested and approved I'm putting in a requisition to purchase the Pro version.
