Do you have the affiliate plugin enabled? If so under the affiliate section on the bottom left of the amember admin you'll see "Manage Banners and Text Links". Under there you can make affiliate links to any page on your web site you like.
I think hes trying to make it more flexible, without having to create a new link for every redirect- for example, every post on a wordpress blog could in a redirect. I think I requested this too a little while back, and amember is supposed to add it to a new release. David
