Add/renew Subscription in the membership

So I added myself as a paid subscriber. Checked to see that the payment had gone through. I can see that my membership in the Edit Membership is active. However, if I choose to add or renew the same subscription, it still takes me to Paypal. Shouldn't Amember see that I have already signed up for this subscription?

In products, set dissallow if active for the same product.
