Adding A Checkbox Field - it seems to always be on

    I added a checkbox field in the admin screen for the client to record their choice of whether to receive our email newsletters (BTW We are not using amember to send out these newsletters)
    Even if the client doesnt check the box when signing up, it seems that its enabled when you look at the members info (logged in as the admin in the admin client or the client changing their own options)

    Settings are:
    Field Type: Common field (default)
    SQL Field Type: blob
    Display Type Checkboxes
    Field value=|Check Box To Receive Our Exclusive Email Offers
    Validation:no validation
