Adding guests to newsletters

Maybe I missed something, but do I have to manually add guests to newsletters? Is their code to add to pages for guest to subscribe to newsletters without creating an account in aMember?

Is there a way to import a existing guest list?

Can I import my existing email addresses into the newsletter guest list?

You can not import users BUT is it possible to automacly subscribe current members to a newsletter thread ?

For example I have set up a newsletter notification subscription and I want to use it to send my newsletter to my 700 members BUT now only new signups appear as memebrs . How can I mass subscribe all members from a selected amember product to be subscribed in the newsletter ?

I know I can get past it by just using the send mail and then selecting all memebr groups I want to include but if the subscription thread can work it is much easier .

Is it possible to import email list (from other email softoware) to Newsletter now with 3.0.8? I have 3.0.3 now and is this 3.0.8 any difference than 3.0.3? If so, what are they?

Also, what about PHPList? Do PHPList have Newsletter feature?

I have 200 email list -- about 2/3 without names. I'm trying to decide if I should export/import into Newsletter or send out mass mailing to sign up our Newsletter (that way we can get their names) in case they want to join us as a member. This way, I will not need to do export/import. Is this best way to do?

What about our member's membership expired and is there a way that this could be downgrade to Newsletter without having me to do manually?
