Are you using pro or trial?

If trial, I had a similar issue and switched from IonCube to Zend version of the trial and the problem went away.

First thing to do is RIGHT click on the links in CP and choose "Properties" to bring up the actual link that CP is trying to load. Check this VERY carefully for spelling errors etc.
Also check your lists of "Protected Folders" to make sure you haven't inadvertently protected the amember directory of child directories themselves. If you are unable to perform this check via CP use your MYSQL admin tool provided by your hosting service to browse the records in the "folders" table of the MYSQL database
Also check the unix/windows permission attributes of the directories within the amember directory to make sure you haven't also inadvertently made them unreadable to owner.
