Is there a way to get the affiliate links to use the Username instead of the affiliate ID? for example http://www.wmfsb.com/order/go.php?r=1&l=uggc://jjj.oybttvatfrpergf.pbz becomes http://www.wmfsb.com/order/go.php?r=username1&l=uggc://jjj.oybttvatfrpergf.pbz or is there going to be a groundbreak plugin that will accomodate recurring monthly payments
No, there is no such way currently. But why is it necessary to have usernames instead of numbers? No, integration with Groundbreak for recurring payments is not planned.
My current setup with Groundbreak/amember doesn't support the recurring monthly affiliate tracking that makes up the bulk of my sales. Any subscriptions that are cancelled have to be found manually in groundbreak and cancelled there. I already have 2000 affiliates who are using links for all of my products with existing affiliate id's from groundbreak. groundbreak uses the username as the unique identifier. Right now I have a redirect script that the affiliates use that only requires their affiliate id. Each product has a redirect script for eg. http://www.jamesmaduk.com/bin/videos.py?id=47 or http://www.jamesmaduk.com/bin/21.py?id=47 I can easily change the way this script redirects the referral links to fit the new amember setup but..... I need the affiliates to be using the same affiliate id as they are using know. If I import all of the affiliates into amember from groundbreak I have no way for my affiliates to maintain the same links unless I can import their username as the affiliate id My other choice is to force all of my affiliates to signup again with new links - which I'm not too keen on. Any other suggestions?
Affiliate Signup Hi, I have amember configured to use the affiliate program, BUT what is the process for having affiliates sign up? Is it built into amember or do I need a third party plug-in? Can affiliates login to check their stats/commissions?
