Although I've used aMember for years, I'm just now starting to use the recurring billing aspect. About a month ago, I set up a new product with a payment option, and today was the first day for recurring payments to be processed. There were 3.

The first got a response from Auth.net that the card was declined. The other 2 show an error of "card number required", which looks very strange, as if there may be a bug in the aMember code. In looking over the database, I don't see any card numbers associated with either the members or the initial payments.

I submitted a help ticket earlier today, but so far, no response. Does anyone have anything they can tell me about this, especially what I can do to fix the problem?

I've found the source of my problem, and it was right in the mirror. (me)

Anton, from the helpdesk, has been working with me to find the source of the problem over this past week, and this morning I finally remembered something that points at me as being it.

When I first set up the payment plans, I forgot to check the recurring billing checkbox until after a few customers had already signed up. As such, there's no reason aMember would have stored credit card numbers for those first few customers.

I do want to report that Anton was completely professional in his approach to my situation and this underscores the quality support to be found here.
