We have a special subscription that requires a normal subscription to the site to order. We've always had to have the special sub displayed only on the 'member' signup page but I think we lose a little business from doing this rather then allowing it on the public signup page.

Is there a way to have it so if we display the special subscription on the public signup page that it lets them choose that but also gets them to order a normal sub with it or something? Somehow so they can purchase both necessary subscriptions from the signup page?

    Thanks!

    Sure, you can!
Go to aMember Cp -> Forms Editor, and click "configure" on "Products" brick. You will be able to choose "checkboxes" instead of radiobuttons, and to choose products to display.

I don't see any kind of Forms Editor in my admin cp. Are you sure you're not referring to v4?

    They are using amember 3.x?

I think you need to create a product bundle- 2 products combined in 1 amember product.

One is a single charge product with an expiration and one is recurring. Would that still work when we are using paypal recurring?

I have 3.2.4PRO it says? Though I do need to upgrade to 4x this month I think...

Just terrified too...LOL. It so scary to upgrade software that is the basis of 3/4 your income and already displayed bugs initially (though Alex is unbeatable at customer service and problem solving with aMember!).

You cant have 1 recurring, 1 one time in paypal. So i think in either 3.x or 4.x you will need to bundle the products together.

Then I think I don't know how to do what your saying :(

I was thinking that bundle was meaning to use the "Additional subscriptions" option somehow.

I have no idea how to bundle?

Imagine you are selling milk and orange juice separately, but want a discount if they are bought together. You tape them both together and say bundled version 25% off. People take them to the register together and pay a single price for both bundled.

Same with a product bundle. In your title/description you say product A and B bought together. Then in the protect content you allow access to this product.
