Amember Address Fields and Joomla Contact Fields

Hi there, I'm currently using Amember with Joomla 1.6.6 and the Amember plugin for Joomla. At the moment I don't have the address fields in Amember enabled, but I think it was a mistake not to. Now I need to get the data into the address fields -- I know how to do that.

My questions are, if I do enable address fields:

1. Will those address fields be propagated over to Joomla? If so, where do they go? Into the Contacts section?
2. I have JomSocial installed, which is where I intended to put the address info originally. Will the Amember address fields be propagated there also?
3. I don't have "Auto-create Contacts for every user" enabled in Joomla. If the address fields need to go into the Contacts section, should I FIRST auto-enable "create-contact-for-every-user" in Joomla?
4. Do I need to rebuild the database to propagate the address fields?

I have 900 users in this installation, so it's a big deal to get this all coordinated. Your prompt response would be appreciated.
