    Hi,

I'm interested in aMember for a project that offers an online course which users have to pay a small fee to access for a year.

The project will also require an online shop that will sell tangible products like a few books and DVDs. The online course "product" should also be available from the shop so someone can purchase the course, a book and a DVD in one go if they so desire. In addition the site will also feature a forum so that anyone can access the forum but members would have their log-in details carried through to the forum as well.

My plan in terms of the software to deliver this is:

    • Wordpress for the course pages and site CMS
    • Wordpress e-Commerce for the shop (http://www.instinct.co.nz/e-commerce/)
    • aMember for the protected members only course pages + Wordpress plug-in
    • vBulletin for the forum + vBulletin/Wordpress bridge

My question is in relation to integrating the aMember purchasing process for the online course with the e-Commerce shop so users can purchase the course at the same time as other tangible products. Is this possible? Has anyone done it already? Is there a better approach?

    Thanks for looking.

For a wordpress shopping cart, have you checked out shopp plugin (shopplugin.net) ?

I too would be interested in this type of bridge. I don't think any are currently available.
