I'm at my admin control panel and trying to find the link to the left that says Setup/Configuration but my panel doesn't say that. All I have is Browse/Search/Add User Reports/Payments Edit/Add products. I don't know if this is the same area I'd need to go to to have my own question addressed but here's what I'm trying to do. On my signup page, generated by the system when I installed aMember, all fields are open Name, Email, choose user ID, choose password and confirm password. I wanted to test the form before I open my site (obviously) but when I fill out all those fields and click the Continue button, it's asking for a Membership Type. This is the first line on the page, but there is nothing beside it and I wondered how or if I could tweak the form so that it gives a membership type that the system will recognize and ackknowledge the membership. Here's a link to a page where I put a screen shot of the missing field in my sign-up page. http://www.jadedesigns.org/signup.html Any help with this would be SO appreciated. TIA DM PS - Also, if I can get help to get my form in order, because I have aMember installed ....how will it know how much I'm charging for my memberships?
Previous topic was about aMember PRO. In aMember Free you are unable to add new fields. But you can use existing fields (just add it to signup.html template) : street, city, state, zip, country It will ask you for membership type, because you have to add products first in admin panel. Did you read manual: http://cgi-central.net/opened/html/ ?
Thank you ...no I hadn't read that but have now. Only thing is, I've put 9.98 for a six month membership in my Add Product but on the signup page it's displaying 10.00 but when you go to the Paypal payment page from the signup page it's saying 9.98 again. I can't get the signup page to stary at 9.98. Confusing for my customers. But thanks for the info link, it was a big help.
