I sell my own products via Clickbank. They are not subscription, just one off payments.

I want a protected membership site where users are sent unique username and password on purchasing, and they can download the software on the membership site (as well as access other stuff).

When someone requests a refund I can disable that user and stop their access.

All of my software updates will be posted on the members site, and my software will need to connect to the members site to validate whether the user is a current customer (ie, not someone I have deactivated).
Presumably if I send them to the membership site from within an internal browser in my software, they will get to the login page (is there a way to access a webpage automatically by including username and password as parameters on the URL?).

Sounds like pretty basic requirements, so is AMember going to work for me? Anyone doing something similar?

    Thanks in advance.

Of course, aMember will do that easily and without any customizations.

    Thanks Alex.
Is there a way to create a URL to access a protected page using username and password in the URL? A bit like the quick login at commission junction where username and password can be specified in the URL.

    Also another question.

I use a script called easyClickmate to handle multiple clickbank products on one Clickbank account, and that requires the Clickbanks "Hoplink target URL" to be set to one of the script pages. Is that going to interefere with the way aMember works?

Just specify amember_login and amember_pass in the URL and it will work.

    Alex,
Sorry, I asked another question by editing my last question at the same time as you were answering the first question.

    Here it is again:

I use a script called easyClickmate to handle multiple clickbank products on one Clickbank account, and that requires the Hoplink target URL to be set to one of the script pages. Is that going to interefere with the way aMember works?

aMember requires that you have Product URL set to specific URL so aMember may handle signups.
