I'm using Mambo 4.5 for my core site content. I've mocked up the "look and feel" of the site into the header and footer templates for Amember to give a somewhat consistent flow. I'd really like to integrate the Amember signup page, member page, etc... as content pages within the site so that when site updates are made (menu items added, graphic changes, etc... I do not have to revisit the header/footer files every time. I tried simply pasting the signup.html contents into a typed content page in html mode (removing the includes for header and footer) and it seems to be choking on the smarty logic... Has anyone been successful in implementing the Amember code into their own versus using the header/footer templates?
There is only one way, and it is described in the manual. Edit files amember/templates/header.html and amember/templates/footer.html to match your site. It is impossible to include aMember file somewhere, and any other tricks are also impossible and will cause troubles.
