When I set up recurring billing items I UltraCart, how does it interact with aMember? In UltraCart, for instance I have a "12 Weeks Subscription billed in 3 payments". When someone signs up they make the first payment, then another payment 28 days later, and another payment in another 28 days. How does this work with aMember? Do I assign it to an item with a 28 day subscription, and UltraCart will tell aMember for each of the 3-28 day subscriptions? Or does aMember need to know about the recurring billing? aMember documentation says the you have to have a payment system that supports recurring billing, there is no UltraCart option in the payment selections. The default is "free", is this a problem, I read somewhere it should be "Manual"? One of the advantages of the membership software is that it send out emails notification telling the member they are about to expire. If UltraCart is going to run the card for 2 more periods, I don't want aMember sending expiration notifications. Not sure how to configure all this. I really need to get this resolved.
Unfortunately I can't help with questions about Ultracart integration. This is something that was created by Ultracart, so I'm not familiar with such integration. As far as I know it will create manual payments in amember when payment completed in Ultracart so settings in amember does not matter, but I can be wrong.
