I'm not sure what is wrong with AOL (America Online) users or their email system. It seems every time an AOL user signs up, they never log in, and it is probably because the never get the signup emai. I have full instructions in a help section that explains to check their spam box, but why would it go there in the first place? Are AOL users simply daft or could this have something to do with the way aMember sends mail? I am still running aMember Pro 2.3.5....waited for stable version 3 to upgrade, looks like it's here!
There is a real problem with AOL e-mails, it filters out emails without any reasons. Try to contact them, or ask a customer to contact them to explain why e-mails are rejected. I tried but no chance. There is a chance the problem will be resolved when you upgrade.
Alex: Yeah, I know...a review of my members shows nearly ALL of my AOL members (hundreds of them) have not logged in, EVER! Not one has ever complained to my customer service number or demanded a refund. Is it just me or are AOL members a bit slower than most? All they need to do is follow directions and check their SPAM box. Duh!
