I'm wondering if this is possible, and if so, how to do it. I've just had a new member use their affiliate link from one account to create a new account and thus give themselves a discount on a membership. How can I deny this commission? Also, I plan to offer bonuses for my high performing affiliates. How would I enter a manual commission for them?
You need to go into phpmyadmin and manually delete the affiliate payment, or add $ to the payment. David
Thanks David, You've confirmed that I wasn't missing something and that aMember needs to be extended in this area. I wish there was a "wishlist" or "feature request" forum. I guess I'll submit a helpdesk ticket to ask for this to be added to a future version.
Really? You can't delete/void people's commissions? I thought I saw that on one of the client's sites already... by going to "Edit Payment" for the processed payment you will see (or should see) the option to void any affiliate commissions associated with that payment.
Miso is right, you can void the commission if you go to the member who bought the product, into the product/edit, you'll see Related Affiliate Commissions, theres an option to void the commission- none to change the amount. Davod
Thanks guys. I never thought to go into the Edit Payment screen. Now if there was a way to ADD a commission entry, I'd be all set.
