We recently started using AIM plgin with amember but we have a good amount of sales that are shwoing as Not Paid.

Any clue what could be causing this?

    Thanks.

could be a couple of things:

    1. do you have an SSL cert? perhaps people are abandoning because they do not want to put their credit card info on a non-secure web page?
    2. do the logs tell you anything?
    3. does your transaction history indicate anything (failures to charge due to code / address mismatch, perhaps people paying via american express and you only accept visa/mc <-default)

    a more pressing concern...

I'll look into those issues. Thanks.

A much more pressing problem is that although we isntalled the AIM plugin, Auth.net is saying we did not submit any recurring billing transactions to them today...just a ton of one-timers. We had ARB set up with them weeks ago and they are pointing to the plugin.

So, perhaps we did not configure it properly. But more importantly, does amember store the cc details in the event we had to manually process these orders? If so, where?

    Thanks.

No offense but this statement scares me.

They offer the option, but it is turned off by default. I agree with Jimmy, *I* would never want credit cards in my database..

    OK but

Thanks guys. I understand your points.

Let me ask this though...an obvious question but thought i would ask...

We did about 200 transactions without the "recurring billing" box checked in the product settings.

Will amember filter these out when going about recurring billing? I'm assuming so which is why I m trying to determine an appropriate solution to getting these members signed up (as they originally intended and agreed to) without having to ask them to re-signup again, which I think will dissuade them from doing so.

We use Auth.net AIM and we can do recurring from that end if needed.

    Thoughts?

    Thx.

    Hello,

You should probably enter support ticket with help desk to verify but I believe because the product was initially specified as not recurring that when the purchase was made by customer that the credit card information was not stored by amember into member record. It would only do this if it was a rebilled product.

So if Amember is the one doing the rebill then it will not have any cc info for the customer in order to do the rebill.

You would be able to verify this by using phpmyadmin or whatever db utility you have to look at members table and look up one of the member records for a member that was not billed correctly as recurring. I'm being kind of vague because I don't want to give exact details in an open forum.
