Auto-email expired users?

This seems like it should be a basic feature - Id like to be able to schedule sending emails to users whose memberships have been expired for a certain time. For example, send them an email when theyre a week over due, send them a second when they are two, and so on.

Am I missing something, or is this not available? Followups are #1 to customer retention and this is a big feature to miss for an expensive piece of software.

Its there, but in a place you don't really expect it...

1. From Admin Control Panel Click on "Products"
2. Then click on "Protect Content"
3. Then click on "E-Mail Messages"
4. Then click on "New Expiration E-Mail"
